Defensive skills – against punches, kicks and weapons etc
Releases from grabs, chokes, strangles etc both standing and on the ground
Specific Krav Maga techniques
Combinations of the above – stress free and under stress

Is Krav Maga suitable for women?
Absolutely! Krav Maga does not rely on strength or size to ‘work’.
We aim for good technique and power. We incorporate aggression and
reflex training aiming to ‘shock & awe’ assailants.

Is there a women only class?
Not at the moment, but if there is a specific demand then we will run a women only class     (Soo Dixon runs women only seminars-see links)
Most attackers are male and we feel it essential for women to  train in as realistic a way as is possible.
If there particular concerns or if you would prefer private tuition then please contact Mike on 07956282402.
An excellent book to read for both women & indeed men is
“The Gift of Fear” by Gavin De Beckier; sadly its quite difficult to obtain.

Will I get hurt during training?
Hopefully not. ‘Safety in training’ is an absolute priority, whether we are training special forces or civilians.
Classes have a thorough warm up & cool down period, however by its very nature (Contact Combat) accidents can occur but hopefully only bruises.
The Instructor is a Sports Therapist so good attention is guaranteed.
